Bison is a tasty, leaner substitute for beef. This is an easy, healthy recipe that can easily fit most peoples' diet macros.
1-1/2 lb ground bison
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 cup tomato sauce
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
Salt, black pepper, red pepper, oregano to taste.
Mix ingredients well with your hands in a large bowl. Press mixture into a loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Drain the juice from the pan and let it sit for 5 minutes or so. Enjoy!
