eat carbs or protein first in a meal>?

Do you eat the protein first, because its the most important Macro and to ensure best digestion? or do you spike the insulin with the carbs, then eat the protein? Or do you feel the order you eat your food doesn't matter at all?
 
I insert it rectally for maximum absorption and pleasure ;)

lol i actually thought about this at one point, and i always ate carbs first, i always ate my food separately which is why i didn't just eat it at the same time

my whole theory was that maybe if i ate protein first it would get converted to glucose and by the time i ate the carbs it would be too late LOL

now i eat all my food pretty much mixed, i doubt it made a difference although when using insulin you probably want to eat carbs first

Have y`all seen the "over thinking it" thread? How about a bite of eggs, sausage and whole wheat bread in every bite! Eating one thing before the other is not going keep them separate in your stomach any way.
 
Put it all in a blender and make it a smoothie so it doesn't matter.

I eat carbs, fats, and protein together lately while bulking. The key to growing while bulking is just eating a ton of whole foods. Elvia told me he ate 880 grams of protein in one meal the other night. That’s how you grow. 😀

This is the only factor I can see playing a part. If you eat the protein first you will feel more full and then not eat as many carbs. I think a lot of members on here though have measured out their meals and are going to eat it all regardless of feeling full toward the end.
 
I eat them together.

Carbs are protein sparing so you'd be risking going catabolic if you start digesting the protein without getting some carbs in first :rolleyes:
 
Protein first then vegetables and last carbs. That way I eat what I feel is important first and I don’t get full off carbs. Hate to see good protein go to waste because I ate too many carbs.
 
I always eat the taint first. Low in sodium.
