Eat your almonds

I'll have a small handful in the morning and before bed... I have the best BMs haha.
 
Almonds are so delicious especially accompanied by some cottage cheese.

^Agree! I mix a handful of almonds in my bowl of cottage cheese every day. The combination of soft and crunchy is oh so good!
 
Not really, who funded that research? Almonds are pasteurized now, usually by steam or a toxic chemical that used to be used in drag fuel called propylene oxide . Good luck finding real RAW almonds. There's been law suits going on by organic farmers since 07 I think. The reason they pasteurize now is because they said they found salmonella. The reality is raw almonds contain b17 which has been known to kill cancer cells. Pasteurization destroys the b17. Now why do you think they would pass a law to have almonds pasteurized?

Eh, I can't even eat most nuts anyways. It seems like my body doesn't assimilate them.

I eat a bunch of almonds, go poop it out so and so hours later, and notice a bunch of crushed almonds in the toilet LOL. Same thing with pistachios. Same thing with some other foods, my body doesn't assimilate them it seems like. Yet, my body doesn't get any allergic symptoms from them. Kind of like when you eat corn, and then you see the dark yellow seed of the corn in your poop :D, the "insoluble fiber"

Does anyone else get this?

Only with crunchy pea nut butter. Probably why I can eat so much and not get fat. Almonds and wall nuts fine. Hang really tried any other nuts

Try this trick for better digestion/assimilation of your almonds and other nuts.

Soak & Dehydrate your Nuts!

The soaking breaks down phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that can bind the the precious minerals (especially calcium, magnesium and zinc) found in nuts, making them less available for the body to digest. In nature, these enzymes are there inside the nut to prevent its growth until it has all the right conditions – water, sunlight, fresh air, etc.

Soaking causes the nuts start to germinate or sprout, releasing the enzyme inhibitors, and majorly increasing the nutritional value.

The dehydrating gives them back their crunch!

This is something that traditional cultures did and still do, and those with less than fabulous digestive systems will benefit from this process in particular.
