Sounds like horse shit to me. Be wary of the symptoms fellas. If you’re drinking protein shakes, and you get a stomach ache or diarrhea, you may have been poisoned by your protein.

I personally think not eating enough vegetables and fruit leads to more problems then eating meant. Comparing a vegetarian life style to an average American is not just about food. Vegitarians are less likely to be over weight, smoke, drink to much. The exercise more then most people etc. Just for starters when that is factored into studies along with eating veggies along with meat the health differences seem to be much more close.

Agreed. They pit standard Americans eating fast food meat, cold cut sandwiches, hot dogs, vs vegans.

Lol ok, your comparing a trucker who hits a little meth for breakfast, eats Arby’s or lunch, smokes a pack of Marlboro Reds, and drinks a 24oz bush light for dinner vs. Karen the stay at home mom that does yoga and has hummus and Tofu as their meals. No cary over to athletes or bodybuilders

i saw 1 study where people were broken into fruit group, veggie group, and mixed fruit and veggie group. And weeks later the blood work from the veggie was the best followed by the mixed group and fruit came in last.

I agree vegetables are important but vegetarians aren’t healthier than people who eat clean and include meat. Comparing them to the general population as a gauge is disingenuous especially when speaking in this forum where everyone is concerned with day to day healthy living. I don’t think people should eat bacon and T-bones but lean and clean is a must especially for gym goers

When comparing people what they eat is one factor in their life style. All factors need to be considered. From the small studies i have seen everything else being relatively the same vegetarians, the Mediterranean diet and low fat meat/veggie healthy diet are fairly comparable. I can't say that everyone in this forum is concerned about being healthy. Just being as healthy as they can be with many of the unhealthy choice we all choose to make. Some are more unhealthy then others in my opinion.

She's fine today after all that meat.
