Eating when hungry macros

For those who follow the eat when hungry protocol, what macros do you use currently, and why? What macros have you used in the past for specific goals (fat loss, increasing lean mass, improving health)?

Hey ridge - im just a small guy, but when trying to gain, I like roughly 40 pro 40 carb 10 to 15 fat. Dieting right now 40 to 50 pro, 20 carbs, 5 to 8 fat.

Obviously this is going to be pretty individual but in my opinion it's the simplest most fool proof way to accomplish goals. If you stay with consistent macros and eat when hungry, it's easy to see where changes need made, at least in my opinion.

Are you trying out this approach?
 
I would think that if taking that approach, you just want to be carefull to at least get the required protein first.
 
If I ate when hungry, I would be eating all day, my appetite is stupid.

Are you actually HUNGRY (not starving, but hungry), or just that you could eat? There's a difference.

Actually hungry...stomach growling, empty stomach pain. My body likes to grow...


I am not super amazing at eating tons at once, but I am ALWAYS hungry 1 hour after eating again. Even after most cheat meals...I was a big kid and always have been...I'm hoping once I finally get lean I can put my hunger to good use.

I think thats a good thing, if I eat about 500calories per meal I will be hungry about every 2hours. Its only when i eat too big a meal that i bloat a bit and lose appetite, or if i eat something my body dosnt like.

If your appetite is high and your digestion is working well then you should be absorbing everything better?

I think being hungry all the time is a good thing??
 
I was thinking 50g protein, 30g carbs, 20g fat. Anybody ever used these macros?
