I have personally always responded well to the EC stack...no aspirin for me. I basically have no appetite so it is easy to control diet. I only run it for 4-6 weeks though so I don't get the associated adrenal fatigue. The dose that works best for me is 200mg caffeine and 24mg ephedrine 2 times per day. I find if I do the 3rd dose I have issues sleeping.

I understood the same, that OTC products like Bronkaid and primatene had some sort of ingredient put in to either counter the stimulant feeling of the ephedrine, or to stop its conversion to meth...no idea if that's simply rumor or not though.

Primatene is ephedrine HCL, bronkaid is ephedrine sulfate, right?

Not sure exactly without researching what the name is.
But I remember its something like 25mg ephedrine and 400 mg of this other drug that somehow counters it?

I think the old days guys could get just ephedrine without the other added.
Some country's (pretty sure Canada) you can still get just straight ephedrine.

I have never used the straight pure kind. Only Primate from Walmart. So I cant compare from experience.

I noticed I burn out very fast on ECA stacks. The stimulating effects are very quickly overshadowed by heavy tiredness.

I can recommend ephedrine without caffeine and aspirine. No burnout, no tiredness in the pms, etc. I can and do use this year round

Neither of you find the Kratom with ephedrine overly stimulating/hypertensive? I've been afraid of combining them because Kratom is said to contain alpha-2 antagonists like yohimbine, and yohimbine + EC jacked my bp wayy up.

I don't. You may be right but kratom gives me more of calm energy rather than full, all-out hyper feeling.

From what I have read ephedrine sulfate is supposed to stop or at least hinder conversion to meth.

Guafenisin. Active ingredient of mucinex. It's an expectorant. Interesting... I never heard anything about that ingredient counteracting the stim aspect... But I'm curious now. I remember the first time I took ephedra, it was STRONG.

Edit: maybe there is something to that. That ingredient apparently is a NMDA antagonist and mild anticonvulsant. Too bad. I don't know where to get pure ephedrine these days.
