after seeing Emeric mention that "high elevated out of range androgen can damage the neurons in your brain" i found more data indicating it leads to changes in behavior, mood, and memory.

"results suggest that elevated concentrations of testosterone can induce programmed cell death, which is characterized by a decrease of cell viability, an increase in the number of annexin V-positive cells, DNA fragmentation, and caspase activation. Apoptotic parameters are blocked or diminished by InsP3R inhibitors and the specific knocking down of InsP3R type 1, indicating that this isoform is a key regulator in this event. Overall, the conclusions from these studies are that normal levels of testosterone are necessary for the normal Ca2+ response and to maintain homeostasis, but elevated concentrations produce altered Ca2+ signal, leading to deleterious effects in neurons."

Elevated testosterone levels — Having too high of testosterone levels has been proven to be detrimental to your brain’s health and does kill brain cells. If you are taking supplements that increase testosterone levels, be aware that too much of the supplement could potentially cause the death of your brain cells:

We would like to believe that caffeine may thwart this effect. We would, would we not? Caffeine may impede the activity of InsP3-gated Ca channels (Kramer RH, et al, 1994).

In short, caffeine may forestall neuronal programmed cell death via InsP3-gated Ca channels.

Gotta have the right ratio of caffeine:testosterone. Otherwise you may end-up being an empty-headed mouth breathing knuckle-dragger.

I tried to read all those studies but my lack of brain capacity/ mental focus got in the way. Think I'll have a cup of coffee while I inject my test and tren....

You eventually feel how to spread the action, via various pathways, just to mitigate all that calcium.

Any useful-and-authenitic understanding comes with personal experimentation and observation. There is a learning curve, and it's the same old problem: if you have any brain cells left so that you can solve the problem.

But I think that's just repeating what gungalunga said.
