Emeric/treadmill speed and incline?

what speed do you recommend on the treadmill for fat loss????


Also, do you incline the treadmill while walking????

8 degrees 3ml per hour.
 
Between 120 and 130

This might be a to nity picky question, but say someone was doing the 3.0 MPH at the incline and their heart rate is UNDER the desired zone of 120-130, would you just instruct them to increase the speed gradually in say .5 MPH increments until its in the 120-130.

Thanks alot Emeric for answering these..you should really write an ebook and have Phil sell it...hell you could get him to get in it too.

Before you step on the treadmill, do 1 set of squats (body weight) 70 reps, that will help to bring up your heart rate very fast.

I always would do like a one minute sprint to elevate my heart rate then began walking the rest of the time...but I like your idea better on doing 70reps of body weight squats!

Thanks for the tip! I am always wondering why I can never get my heart rate up on the treadmill without having to go way to fast to get my heart rate even close to 120 still. I will try this tomorow morning.
 
I do treadmill at 4mph and slight incline (don't remember). What I've noticed: If I have not lifted, it takes several minutes for my heartrate to climb. If I go directly after lifting my heart rate starts at 110 or so and climbs to the 120s easily. I usually do treadmill immediately following my lifting for 30 min. I'm on beta blockers so that could have something to do with the delay in getting my heart going from a "cold" start.

I know I am not Emeric but I have been taking 1 zenalean tab 20-30 minutes before I do cardio (on an empty stomach) and I am the leanest I have ever been. I rock the treadmill @ a 6 degree incline @ 4.5 mph for 25-30 mins.. Just my experience.

I am going to def. try the 70 rep squat idea!

I don`t do cardio before breakfast, I do cardio after my morning trainings, and after my evening trainings, before contest only. During of season, not much cardio, of season I like to do once per week(beside my regular leg day) 12 x 15 reps of deep squats for cardio.

Before training (every time) I eat 100 to 120 g complex carbs,( on leg days the 120g), 1 EnergyX capsule and Nivalin.

For someone natural, I would recommend to learn to train correctly, hard and intens, and eat as much real food is possible. Add the supplement to your real food and don`t re place the food with the supplements.
