encripted mail?

with all the le going on with the current busts,im wondering if le has got some master keyes to encripted mail services and if so which ones are safe and which ones are not?anyone have or heard any ideas?i would be afraid to contact anyone for the above reasons.

from what I read, quite a few deals were none on yahoo acounts, so who knows about encrypted accounts being the culprit.

i highly doubt any email account is safe.

.. even if servers are in Canada (ect) there are always loop holes.

Nothing being transmitted electronicly or over air waves is safe! Plain and simple. If you don't want some one else to know about it don't send it! Now can they possibly monitor every single transmission, email or text msg, maybe with the aid of super computers. I used to work for MA bell in the states, guys I must tell you the tapping and bugging technology they had back in the late 80's was incredible! So we are now twenty years into the future and I knew then where it would lead. Nothing electronic is safe!! Period. So you take your chances and talk in nursery rhymes or something. But it is all a chance!

Encrypted Email

Hush to Hush seemed relatively secure at one point but I think anyone with alot to lose would be better off not using that service. Securenym to Securenym has not shown itself to be vulnerable. PGP should still be safe encryption as I don't think they have had to share the back door code although I don't know this for a fact.

Most importantly is finding a service that does not log traffic. There are still a couple of these. Even these services would recommd that you PGP sensitive information that remains in an email account.

But better to have it unencrypted in yahoo then sitting on your hard drive should your computer be seized.

One strategy is to create accounts that are only used for storage and never communicated out of.
