We could explore the Androgen Response Elements and various proteins that may affect this.
But first we should explore the various points of action for Androgens.
1.) There is that membrane-bound receptor that supposedly mediates some of the immediate effects and "non-AR effects"
2.) Intracellular-cytoplasmic effects. When the androgen binds to the androgen receptor, the conformational change immediately affects cellular pathways. Then the AR switches it's heat-shock-protein chaperone and translocates to the nucleus.
3)AR nuclear effects, then, are some of the traditionally conceived actions of Androgens. Varies in conjunction with Androgen Response Elements.
