energy care bands anyone actually try them?

I got one from my girl for xmas. The same one cutler wears. energycare brand. did i notice anything right away....well its hard to say. BUT if we are willing to take drugs that may harm us, spend tons of money on them, stretch with extreme stretching, use all kinds of wraps and supports, and do all these things to get a little edge in our training....why not get a $50.00 bracelet...even if it does just give a placebo....who cares? it still gives you a mental edge you didnt have before!

I do feel like i have more endurance, is it in my head? i dont know or care, because my workouts are better. $50.00 well spent.

the difference is we KNOW test works. knee wraps work for a reason, WPI works for a reason. these things, they KNOWINGLY scam people out of money. Its false advertizing, immoral, and should be illeagle. This thing claims to violate the laws of physics. and it does it for $50. Come on man, its not the thing itself i have the big problem wiht, its the implications that the success of it as a product, has that i have a problem wiht.

I really doubt them too, there isnt any science to back it up. I will tell you though that a guy I know showed me how it works at a party one night. He had me stand upright on one leg in the room with both of my arms held straight out at shoulder level, like I was being cruicified. He then pushed down on my right upper arm and of course I lost balance and started to fall over. He then had me hold the band in my right hand and then pushed down on me again while I was standing on one foot. He claimed he was pushing as hard as he could on my arm and I did not lose balance. He couldnt get me off balance by doing that.

Unless he was pushing in a different way or not as hard on purpose, that stupid band worked. I dont think he had any motive to cheat or trick me. He had nothing to gain really. I still must admit that I think he tricked me somehow. I just cant get myself to believe in that band!
