Enlarged prostate

Hi all. 55yo, been on test 250-500mg/week for years now. Anastrozole for estrogen control. 2iu/day GH. Occasional blood donations to keep HCT in normal range. Once in a while, small blasts with additional var, mast or deca, depending on circumstances.

Lots of medical checking - normal bp, normal liver enzymes, cardiac CT scan perfect, psa's normal, regular prostate checks, etc. Life is good.

Very recently, I have difficulty urinating comfortably. Dr found my prostate has grown larger. We are following up carefully to rule out more serious things, but it looks like BPH, which is apparently pretty common in older guys. No doubt androgens can contribute.

Have any of you had similar experiences? And how did you manage the situation? Thanks v much.

Yes I have it too, my PSA was fine, did the finger test and doc said the prostate was a bit swollen. I get up about every 1 1/2 hour to pee at night, and have issues with holding it too long.
Doc said I can go on meds or just deal with it, I am taking saw palmetto which is helping a little. It doesn't help that I am on two BP meds either. I do still take gear.

The lowest dose I saw was 2.5mg cialis, is this that should be used for BPH?

I think guys are taking 5 - 10mg a day for BPH. I know raj also uses it preworkout. It certainly will not hurt your ability to be ready for your girl on a daily basis either. Someone we know has it in a liquid at 50ml - 30mg/ml with a calibrated dropper which maybe helpful. If your insurance pays then may be the route to go with lower dose tabs. But I think its running about $50 for the oral if you want to buy it off the boards. Blue, may have tabs you can split easily as well at a good price.

Cialis is used as a bp med at 20mg a day. The finasteride rec is solid. It would shrink the prostate but it takes time. dutasteride will do the same but quicker.

I think this is rare and to be honest, I am not sure it is readily attributed to the drug. Some of the people who report this may have mental issues.

I would try 2.5-5mg daily.
