ENOUGH WITH THE SLOPPY FORM ALREADY!!!

I need slow n controlled but I can't n don't speak for others especially them big boys. I think they know what they need to do to keep growin.

if you read this you will see i actually if you take all angles in account overall I agree with Sacroplasm if i had to pick which way is better lol i really agree strongly with lats point about longevity playing a big factor if you see yourself wanting to do this for many years.

I know I am not well known on this board but I just watched a little of Dr Victor Prisk doing alternating dumbell curls in a video on the MD site and I ve got to say that his form is POOR!!! DON'T SOME PEOPLE REALIZE THAT BY SLOWING DOWN THE SPEED OF THE REP WILL PUT GREATER STRESS ON THE MUSCLE!!!!!! YOU CAN'T FREAKING SWIIIIING THE WEIGHT AND EXPECT THE MUSCLE TO GROW. YOU ACTUALLY BYPASS THE MUSCLE WHEN YOU DO THAT!! ALSO, ENOUGH WITH THESE BULLCRAP PARTIAL REPS WITH NO PAUSE AT THE BOTTOM AND PAUSE AT THE TOP OF THE MOVEMENT EITHER!!! THE MOVEMENT SHOULD BE SMOOTH!!! SURE YOU WANT TO TRAIN HEAVY BUT IT'S GOT TO BE RIGHT!!!! I DONT GET IT, ALSO YOU MUST LOWER THE WEIGHT SLOWLY MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!!! WHATS GOING ON HERE!!!!???

Prisk already had a bicep tear a few years back.

Whether or not someone's training style is stupid, and this can be debated endlessly, it will never change. It's like posing, the way you pose or train will never change. At the start of your training career a certain style gets ingrained and that's what you stay with.
