Ephedra and drug test. False positive for methamphetamine

My girl needs to take a drug test for her job, she was taking low dose of ephedra and stopped 3 days ago.
I heard that ephedra can show false positive for methamphetamine... is this true?
Is one week enough to clear out ephedra from the system?

No idea but i know that a couple fireman in jax failed drug tests from taking jack3d came back with methamphetamine's on the test lol heard that from a trainer in town if its true we have no idea what companies are putting in shit these days lol

ive taken employee test 3 times now. on ephedrine and never had an issue, meth was one thing tested for.

it is only detectable for 72 hours, so either way she should be fine

Ever read Hany Rambod's take on this subjest in general.

I have been in that camp for the past 6 months, and agree with him based on what I see in the mirror.

Not an easy adjustment for those who are weak. But a great reward for those who are strong, in body and mind. I's way easier IMO to be strong in body, and way more difficult to be strong in mind, especially with no stims.

The testing facility should ask her what meds...supps...ect, OTC or prescribed, she's currently taking. She needs to list "Bronkaid". A lab will conduct further testing on the sample with a GC/MS if the initial test comes back positive. The GC/MS will catch the ephedrine which will explain the false positive for amphetamines. The "Bronkaid" will explain the ephedrine.

What pygmy said above this post is true but for what its worth I will tell you not to sweat it because I have to take (2) random urinalysis tests every year for my employment. Been doing this the past 5 years straight every year without fail and i habitually use/abuse Ephedrine HCL and never once had a false positive come up for methamphetamines or any other stimulant for that matter.

My test always includes this lineup and never have an issue...

This test card tests for combination of Cocaine, Amphetamine, Methamphemine, Marijuana (THC), Opiates, Phencyclidine, Barbiturate, and Benzodiazepine.

I know that ephedrine is very closely related to ecstasy, and a lot of people make ecstasy out of ephedrine (obviously there is more stuff added, but ephedrine is the base) so that might be why it would come up on a drug test... just tell her to be u front about using supplements with stimulants in them...

If worse case she does pop, just tell her to request a blood test. I know a couple guys whom popped pissing for some jobs we were on, no clue why, but they requested blood tests and all came back good.

I wld say no worries bro, just have her drink lots of water the night before and flush out her system. Also, CVS or Rite-Aid sell the home testing kits for peace of mind....

If she has not used ephedra is a week, then there's nothing for her to worry about. I would be worried about taking a drug test if I were using any stimulants that are on the market....just not sure what these companies are adding to it.
