ephedra / ephedrine hcl ?

whats the word on this, i know ban goes into effect today, but from what i am reading it is saying ephedra products are banned. and not ephedrine HCL or the pseudo ephedrine.

here is a clip from an article i got off aol,

"The ban does not affect decongestants and other medicines containing ephedrine, a synthetic version of ephedra. Drugs containing ephedrine and a chemical cousin called pseudoephedrine are regulated and approved by the FDA and are safe, said agency spokesman Lawrence Bachorik."

so i guess the ephedrine HCL with guifessin in it is still ok or sounds to be after reading this.

also anyone know what the ban consists of? the seling of it, possession or buying, using? i have a shit load of it, are we grandfathered in?

I went to get some Primatene Mist Tabs at Walgreens (12.5 of Ephedrine HCL) and you have to ask the pharmacist for them - no longer on the shelf but not a RX drug.

so ephedrine HCL is still ok then. just the herbal form of ephedra is banned.
is that it?

Don't quote me on this but I do beleive that the ban was for herbal Ephedra only.

Only products with ephedra are banned not ephedrine. As stated, they are being more cautious with ephedrine now.

ephedrine HCL is asthma medication, bodybuilding sites that sell it and have MODS that tell you to take it for other reasons give the FDA reason to ban it as well.

This is precisely the reason why I got banned from www.1fast400.com as a MOD there "KOW" is a moron doing exactly that.
