I have really thought a lot about it haha I love it there! If I didn't have a gf in the air force it would be a no brainer

Well, my wife and I have thought about moving there. She is in the health care field and can get a job every easy in alaska. But I think things are very expensive there ,food houses ect.

Things are a bit higher... There is no dollar menu at McDonalds, there is a "value" menu haha but a plate that would be $7-8 here would be $10-11 there. Fuel was a little higher, not much. But my parents pay $1700/month for a 2/3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment/duplex. Something that would be like $900-1000 in most of the lower 48
