Evacuated due Gustav

Well my friends, we ran to Dallas to avoid problems with this huge Huracan, we are 18 people, family and friends, the good thing for us it is not affecting the area where we live, and it came from cat 4 to cat 1, i am so sorry for all the people that had to ran and they already lot their properties or didnt have any where to go but a shelter.

This is sad, but at least is not people dieing this time.

I will be out the Atlantic City Show due the expenses for this travel, and supporting my family.

Gald to hear you are safe and well. Out of harms way also. This was a big strom that died out quickly, which was a blessing for all those less fortunate living in the New Orleans area and surrounding parts. Very close call this one.

Thanks my friends, nothing happen in our town, just rain and winds so we are going back home tomorrow.

Well Hanna is going up from florida to north carolina, so we are safe in texas, and the other 2 storms are to far to know.

Now from the sounds of it there are several more storm systems just stacked up one behind the other... this will be an interesting hurricane year.

The hurricane really wasn't bad like the media was out to make it. I live in Lafayette, Louisiana which isn't that far from the coast (like 2 hours from new orleans) and we were fine. Yea there was some pretty strong wind but nothing to crazy.
