New board rule:

18) no porn in avatars

All porn avatars are to be removed immediately. It's self explanatory why.

These type of avatar's don't bother me, but I was thinking exactly this myself (see quote) Kinda funny though considering this sport is all about judging bodies in tiny skimpy posing trunks...

but you can choose not to open that thread while porn in avatars is seen on any thread that person posts on.

Tom, don't get me wrong. I love (female) ass, but I think you're argument is a little weak. If the idea is not to offend, presumably the female members in particular, then it's a little hard to ignore a thread which is in your face every day, simply because it's raging strong with contributions every day. I'm not some prude by any means - I've looked in that thread several times myself, but if this is a BB site, then it's just out of place. As I said, consistency.

It's not hard to ignore if you don't want to see it. Huge difference between clicking on a link to look at girls asses and reading posts about a particular topic and coming across something you may not want to see, or shouldn't because of where you're at.

The board rules are not up for discussion anyways, they are here to let you know what you can and can't do. If you have a problem with them there are other options for you, but none of them will have an affect on this board.

I would hardly say his argument is weak. This is rule is stating porn has it's place and you avatar it not it. I enjoy checking this site at work and when I am at work I am certain not to click on the Ass thread because I know what it contains. However with other threads I never know who has posted on them so I don't know if they will contain an avatar with porn or not. If someone were to walk up behind me it would be quite embarrasing I could even loose my job for looking at a thread where someone has porn in there avatar.

So if you need consistency here it is:

Porn belongs in threads that are clearly marked as containing adult materials and nowhere else.

I am all for some pr0ns as well, but the only images I have seen are in user's avatars, and not expecting it.

If I want to see some ass, I will go to a thread dedicated to it. So, I agree with the rule.
