I had to cut leg workout short today Quad pump was insane! Quad pressure -so pumped can't even move right to finish my other exercises.

This has happened before but it has been awhile. What do you guys do when you get this? Longer rests?

There are a lot of factors that could be in play. Fluid intake, sodium intake, OTC supplementation (pre-workout, general pump products, etc.), "super supplements", to name a few.

Have you done anything different prior to today's workout? Diet or fluid intake change the day prior or day of?

Leg pumps can definitely be a huge pain in the ass!

Could be high salt intake. Time I trained was different today can't think of much else.

Between sets or after legs . . .

Do a leg drain.

Your legs need to be elevated higher than your heart.

Lie on your back on the ground. Elevate your legs as vertical as possible, perpendicular to the ground is ideal but anything in between is better than nothing.

Under those circumstances this will facilitate leg recovery from a muscular pump better than anything short of blood letting.

I took a long rest to let the pumps subside before continuing. Thanks for the input 👍🏼
