Another good thing is exercises for musicians. I'm a bass player and hand strength and muscle is as important as the actual musical training. Did ton's of stuff sitting on the edge of a bench wrist curls and reverse wrist curls till the cows come home. My gym has an old school plate loaded grip builder that has you pulling the weights straight up with fingers only (bad description lol) Also did tons of the spring loaded grippers. Playing in clubs for 30 years, never had any hand problems, where as tons of my friends did.
