Exogenous ketones

Curious if anyone has any experience or knowledge about these exogenous ketone drinks, like ketone iq or ketone aid. Supposed to be good for energy and focus and things like that. I would like to try them but I’m pretty skeptical on if they are actually effective and worth the expense.

I have a concern here. It may be warranted or I may be totally off-track.
The cuncurrent presence of both high glucose and ketones is the distinctive hallmark of Diabetic ketoacidosis.
Could supplementing exogenous ketones on a high carbs diet (or in case of impaired insulin sensitivity) pose any risk in this regard?

^^This. ketones in a calorie surplus get lost easily, kinda like eating candy to think better, not long lasting and just extra calories.

Unless you are one of these
1. Diabetic
2. Alcoholic
3. Going through severe starvation (days and days without food)
Then ketoacidosis should not be a concern of yours.
