Expired Test - STILL GOOD?

I used to get test from signature phamacy Via script. I noticed that the expiration dates are only 6 months after the produst was made. I have got different stories on how long it is good for. I have been told that because it was compounded it will expire sooner, I have been told that the FDA requires Compounding Pharmacies to put short expiration dates on thier gear, I have been told that it will last for years after expiration dated if stored right. Signature told me (before they got shut down) that it will be good for at least 3 years before it starts to loose strength and even after that it will be small.

Two questions

1- why does other gear from say Upjohn have a 3-5 year expiration date on it, when compounded gear from say Signature have a 6 month expiration date on it.

2- If I have gear from signature that was compounded 3 yrs ago at 200mg/ml will it still be 200mgs/ml today?

Simple answer..They do this for one resaon and one reason only..To hope after their expiration date you throw it out and buy more..The more often you buy the more they make~!

It will be fine. The compounding pharmacies have to put the six month exp date under law.

I think you have your facts a bit mixed up. Signature was a huge compounding pharmacy that a large majority of most rejuvination clinic's anabolics were produced (compounded). Upjohn, old Steris, or an american compounded medicine are all going to have to uphold the same standards as far as the items being clean and free of bacteria. The main difference is that when a company develops a drug, they have to spend a ton of money doing research and advertising. They get a patent and then can corner the market on that compound until the patent runs out. After this happens, any other company can ask the FDA for permission to make and sell the same drug just without the trade name. Everything else is exactly the same.

TJ...I would be willing to bet that unless your test has crashed, its more than fine to use. Rejuv clinics, particularly a couple years back, really tried to upsell you on everything. I had scripts as well and my expiration dates were sometimes 3-6 months from when they were dispensed . Why? So I would come back and buy more testosterone at 75-85 dollars a bottle (back then). So all in all, you'll be fine.

this may not be helpful but recently i had this experience: one of my buds found an OLD bottle. i am 99.99% sure the stuff was totally legit, but it had expired 4 years ago! he took it and on his second 'usage' of it he got very sick. he called me and i took a look and noticed that the rubber seal had deteriorated and there were little tiny pieces of rubber in the liquid after he poked through the seal the 1st time.

If the gear looks normal and has not been way overheated or frozen (and in both of these cases it would not look normal), and the gear was good to begin with, I think that you are fine using it. I have used Organon Sustanon and also Omnadren well past it's official expiration with excellent effect and no problems except that the Omnadren hurt for me the way that it alays did in the past when it was within the expiration. Omnadren is just painful for me unless mixed with Deca. I cannot comment on your specific product but generally speaking if the product was good to begin with I think you are OK.
Not to say that I won't feel terrible if you die from it for some reason, but I at least I have no expectation of anything negative at all happening assuming you inject properly. Most likely you are just going to grow more after using the product, you know?

No you are absolutely wrong. Pharmaceutical companies put expiration dates on their products because after a set date either; the potency of the medication can no longer be guaranteed and/or the sterility can no longer be guaranteed.

I think in the case of roids its the sterility issue. and the reason its a sterility issue is not the oil goes bad but the seal on the bottle may be compromised ofter a number of years. I wouldn't worry about it as long as its not older than 5 years past the expiration date and the bottle is fairly well intact.

Yes but keeping the stock rotating is not the reason for expiration dates. If that where the case it would expire after 12 months or less. Insulin is mostly only good for a year but its an issue of sterility and potency in that case.

I have also used expired Test Cyp by upjhon though, and it worked fine.
