Fantastic stem cell info on Joe Rogan podcast

Well, that's his take on the ones he says are the best.

Their take is different
**broken link removed**

There is another place I contacted in Florida (searsinstitute.com) that does adipose stem cells and they claimed theirs' was better over the phone.

So at the end of the day, everyone claims their type of stem cells is superior. It's really up to us to sort out the data and find the truth. I think all can work to some degree.

How are they legally doing that in the US. I didn't think it was approved as a legitimate medical treatment here? That's why the first place you found is doing it in Panama, I assume.

This is about heart failure:

adipose and bone marrow stem cells are available in the USA. It's just not FDA approved or covered by insurance.

So I guess the reason they don't offer cells from the fetus or cord is because of the source type? Illegal I guess. I can see why for the fetal, but the cord shouldn't be some ethical problem. Laws. Also, the bone marrow and adipose probably are harvested from you so I can see why that wouldn't be a legal issue?

The cord has always been an issue.. I heard someone say once that if you tried to take your own baby's mother's cord after birth, you would be arrested. It's a big issue with a specific standard operating procedure and I'm not sure if it is for hospital research or there is big money in it for each hospital. They're surely going somewhere...not just into the trash. IMO, from what I do know...you guys considering this should really only be looking at MSC's from the cord if you are gonna pursue this. I am no expert but chances are, whatever you can get in the states or under the guise of being 'legal' in the states...is a watered down version of what can really be had. Don't half ass it..full ass it.

Yeah. The one in Panama that approved me is mesenchymal from the cord. It has some promise. I just called and left them a message today. I hope to talk to Dr. Riordan on the phone. I would think if I am looking at spending nearly $30k with them that I could talk a few minutes with him.

I don't have a choice since Panama denied me. It's between fetal and adipose (MSC's from adults) for me. Unless someone knows another place that does cord blood...I'm seeing a lot of benefits for both of these too. Very difficult to find out which is definitely the best (Dr. Riordan does sound convincing but the documentary on fetal I posted is too). I think bone marrow is the worst simply because it's more invasive. The rest is IV

When we had both of our daughters, 2002 and 2003, they offered a service where they would save the cords. At the time it seemed silly to me and a waste of money so I didn't do it. I wish I had now!
