It's sad that I feel I get better medical info and advice on a forum than from my doc, anyway...
I had been on trt for two years because of a pituitary adenoma. My original test was 250ng/dl it went up to 400-450 ng/dl on 100mg of test/week. I went off without PCT four months before my new blood test. Just got the results: test was 330ng/dl and free test which I didnt have done before was 200, not sure of units.
I think test levels were great for months after coming off of 2 year trt.
However, my insulin was above accepted range but glucose was normal. The doc basically said he didn't know if this was unhealthy or not(a NYU medical docotr) and claimed my body is producing more insulin than normal for my larger BMI than normal. Not sure if I buy that because of how unsure he was. I am 6'4 220 12%bf, should I be worried about this?
thanks,
