Please check out this guys cunning plan, hes even eating chocolates on the day of competion. Wouldnt that release insulin and flatten you out?

Does fat loading really work or is it only a few certain people that benefit from it?

Here is the diet one week before the show

Monday's Diet

10:15 A.M. 200 gm of apple
50 gm of chicken
1:30 P.M. 28 gm organic cornflakes
28 gm of rice puffs
50 gm of dextrose
28 gm of whey
20 gm of glutamine & 5 gm of creatine
2:15 P.M. 22 gm organic cornflakes

And why would you think that insulin will flatten you out?
 
ya the insulin is common in loading up for a show, wether you inject it or use a sugar to get a response, it helps to load more carb and nutrient into the muscle

never heard of it making you flat? actually just the opposite...

I agree 100%. The last 12 to 24 hrs before the show is all about water carb and sodium manipulation. I don't think that the fat plays any significant role. Garbage carbs, salts ect. on a dry fripped frame can do wonders.

Thanks for your responces. Ive read somewhere that sudden amount of sugar can release fast insulin and that could flatten you out. I will look into it.

So you think that guys diet is good, I would love to have junk food on my contest day, man a snicker bar is just calling my name right now.......:mad: ok only seven more weeks, aint nothing to it;)

I think Fat loading is far "safer" than carb loading due to the fact that ingesting too many carbs, or the wrong type of carb could potentially bloat or distend your abdomen. I believe also, if your lean enough, you can actually fill out a tad bit from dietary fat to a far lesser degree than carbs. I think miniscule carbs with the RIGHT water and sodium manipulation will really determine whether your full and/or flat. I know now what works for my body in that regard, but you'll have to play around with water and salt if your in shape ahead of time, like you should be. (3 weeks out).
 
I was mega depleted for my last show and on the day of show I shitloaded with pizza, chocolate and peanut butter and pumped up really well. I think if you are lean and depleted it works well.
 
The night before the show.....Chinese fried rice..........morning of the show ....mars bars and coffee for breakfast...........pre-judge.........mars bars, jelly beans and scotch..................pumpup...........more scotch and jelly beans............just before stage big drink of water.......and Holy shit:eek: ripped, tight and dry, vascular as fuck and ready to go!!!

LOL.... I'm 7 weeks out too, so I know exactly what you mean. But rather than focus on the contest date, I'm fired up over my test run for Shitloading in coming up in 3 weeks! It sure helps me being able to look forward to a planned 12 hours of junk food in the near future.

I noticed that drinkin some water befor going on stage helps me to fill out and tighten up too.. I will usually drink 16-32 oz of gatoraide or water about 20 min prior to steppin on and it makes a huge difference in my apperance also makes posing for 10 min under the hot lights a bit easier too! never tried the scotch but tried sippin some wine befor too, didnt really notice a difference, how much scotch you drinkin?

I drink lots of coffee the morn of the show(like 20-30 oz) It helps keep me energized and has a diretic effect also.. peanut butter cups are one of my staples for back stage also!

Man I hate you.......P/nut butter cups are like ....extinct around here. I usually have to import from the GOOD OLD USA. Love those Reeses. But yep, they work a treat and taste great too. If I say I don't hate you any more will you send me some...........Pleeeease!!!!!LOL

damn I thought we had it bad having to import our "supps", I should start a international online candy distribution site, I could send it on dry ice to maximize freshness and preserve its original form! maybe I could get big a to let me post a banner here if I send him some too! :p

obviosly the liability would fall on your shoulders to make sure what you are ordering is legal in your country....:D

But Im told that if your gonna fat load you have to carbed up and not depleted, like never fat load whilst depleted. I think thats the deference between fat loading and shitloading.

Well it looks like this diet is gonna go to the wire, so Im hoping to be fully lean by then.

If you find a thread of mine I posted after my last show, I detailed out what I did as far as manipulation the last week. In 2 weeks, I looked like a different person than I did at the last show. First show, I did a standard water/sodium/carb load/depletion and looked like shit, than after eating whatever the hell I wanted the day after, I went on zero carbs pretty much and high fat/protein. I began heavy fat loading when I cut off water with cashew butter and almond butter than intoduced shit food that included carbs around 4 hrs b4 PJ. Whatever I did it worked for me. Like I stated earlier, I personally feel it had more to do with not cutting off my water so soon and actually increasing to the PJ. Water/sodium balance moreso than carb/fat issue.

good post bro, I also agree the water has a lot more to do with nailin it than others think, I did the traditional carb load thing and it fucked me up, I looked like I was 20 lbs lighter and didnt diet at all.... dieretics make me look like shit!
 
The more I think about it, I cant stand dehydration process. Look at it this way. Given you did your homework and are completely shredded. Glutes, lower back etc... You re training at your gym 2 weeks out with paper thin skin, looking full and ready to rock. You water load and deplete and start it 18-24 hrs prior to PJ. You weigh 208 than by PJ you weight 195!!!! Thats what happened to me. Do you think I had 13 lbs of water under my paper thin skin???? HELL NO, that shit came straight from muscle bellies. I believe if your shredded, you need to be so, so careful with cutting off water. I should have lost maybe 3-4 lbs of sub Q water, THATS IT. Everyone is obviously very different, but I think diuretics and water cut-offs are getting outta hand. Get the lard off than everything else should fall into place. Its a definite crap shoot.
 
Good psots by future freak and KM. I don;t think people realize the importance, or the actual function of water. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH WATER IN YOU, THEN THERE IS NO WAY YOU ARE GOING TO FILL OUT, NO MATTER HOW MUCH CARBS/SODIUM/SHIT/FAT YOU EAT!!!. Water acts as the transporter for these nutrients to be shuttled to the proper location (muscle).

ANother thing, I would like to make note of is SPILLING OVER. People get wayy too freaked out by it and think that if you drink 4 oz of water you will automatically be smooth within 1 minute. It doesn't work that way. "Spilling over" is a gradual process and takes longer than a couple of minutes to happen, therefore, if you are about to step on stage for the night show, it would be better to drink a small bottle of Gatorade or water a couple minutes before hand to ensure that your body will be able to fill out enough, than to go out on stage so dehydrated that you will just be flat with a distended stomach due to eating so much "shit" and it just sitting in your stomach with no place to go (because there is no water to transport it)

I will say, however, that it is better to cut water sometime before the show (proably the day before) and see hwo your body responds after you start carbing up. If you start carbing up and your body is not filling out, then what do you think you need to do? Add some water....gradually... It is a lot easier to put water in, than to take it out....
