Favorite Post-Workout Meal

What's your favorite post-workout feast? Today I went with flatbread. 1500kcals

Pepperoni, mozzarella, and cheddar
Canadian bacon and cheddar
Bacon, green peppers, black olives, mozzarella
Mushroom, onion, sweet peppers, mozzarella

I'm not into the dextrose, low molecular weight carbs, hydrolyzed peptide chain etc mixes guys believe in, I'm like you real food.

High protein, high carbs, low fat low fiber

Usually turkey baked with mushrooms + hash browns (potatoes) or white cheddar rice cakes. Usually also chop up some peaches, strawberry, kiwie and top it with some yogurt.
 
That looks amazing but all my pre workout meals need to be light on the stomach.

Now post workout is a different story
 
I eat so much crap- Meaning I rotate my meals alot..but its all healthy and very low fat - or no fat at all depending on what I eat

But it will normally be for this discusion - Oroweat 10 grains and seed- jelly - Apple pie filling - Chicken Breast - Rice or Yam or acorn squash etc - pineapple -

Very Low fat because Insulin is still active during this window
 
I usually make a big "taco bowl"

Taco seasoned 99/1 ground turkey
black beans
jasmine or mexican rice
jalapenos
peppers
light sour cream

I'll throw in a bag of quest chips sometimes and also have a halved banana on top of a choc or peanut butter crisp bar with a 16oz glass of Fairlife skim.
 
My favourite post workout at the moment is:

600g fat free cottage cheese
1 scoop casin or whey (for flavour)
2 bananas
Skinny syrup

Brooklyn Bread?
I get mine from a small place near me called Vitos. It's a private Italian place that sells pizza sauce, marinara, salsa, pizza breads, pre-made dough (just stretch and go). It's really nice because it's locally owned and operated and tastes homemade.

I know, I mixed fats and carbs and normally I never do that. I've been really tight since January, as of June 1st I started my summer cruise and loving it. Weekends are much looser on diet. I had a huge leg day this morning with post IGFLR3 and with my morning hGH, I just need to keep my blood sugar up. wiesz, ze polerujemy, musimy jesc duzo 😁

Definitely a rare gift for me to mix fats and carbs this way. It lasted about 5 minutes. Ha!
 
Mine is just typically the next meal on my plan whatever it falls on depending on what part of the day I can workout . Post Workout shake usually has 100g hbcd and 2 scoops iso or leg and back day is 150g carb of cereal with 2 scoop iso
 
Normally it’s chicken and homemade fried rice with eggs and some veggies stirred in tbh, but that’s because I love chicken and rice. I steam the rice and then use just a tiny bit of beef tallow or duck fat to fry the rice so it’s low in fat (other than an egg yolk or two).

Today the step kid had a pool party so it was 80g of protein from a shake and two slices of cheese pizza 😂
 
PWO Meal?
Haribo Gummy Bears + 150g of Rice Crispe = 150-170g carbs
Whey iso shake = 75g protein]

Eat Whatever Meal?
5 Guys burger & fries.
