What’s you guys favorite protein powders? Or best tasting?
I just started using dymatize coco pebbles. Amazing

Animal brownie batter, with only enough water to make it like a thick pudding texture. I can't go back to anything else since I started doing this about 2 years ago

And you drink it like that?

I used to rely on protein powders quite a bit, especially when I worked on site (finance) and had to grab/go protein quickly.

Now that I am remote I might have 30-40g every few days.

Solid foods, imo, is the way to go. Even more so now when in Canada 5lbs of GOOD quality whey is well over $100CAD...and truthfully who knows what goes into it.

Much rather send that money to a local farmer for chicken, pork and beef.

yes because plain whey is also a very natural, unprocessed food source xD
I mean at this point everything about it is chemically engineered. The fertilizer that goes into the genetically modified plants (that are sprayed with pesticides) that feed the cattle. The cattle are on 10 different medications and hormones.

What makes you single out synthetic coco pebble flavoring as particularly harmful?

I dropped coco pebbles at 12 y/o. Protein powder is fuel for the machine. Y`all think you are healthy but eating/drinking straight chemical engineered foods. I don`t get it. Plain whey only for me
Because its still a complete protein and provides all essential amino acids for building muscle. The artificial flavors/colors do not impact muscle hypertrophy and is just fear mongering from the ignorant. Obviously whole food is better but if you're in a pinch, a little flavored whey is not going to be worse than plain whey. I don't get the contradiction here where people are completely okay with injecting themselves full of Chinese bathtub chemicals but suddenly artificial flavor is going too far

Remember to run the labels through AI to see if your powders are spiked with cheap ass aminos.....
The easy way to determine this is by the serving size.

Check the nutritional label. Look how much grams of protein are in each serving size. For example some of the purest Iso s are Dymatize, Nutrobio and a few others.

The high percentage of protein per serving show the little amount of fillers used in the product.

Ryse has some tasty powders, especially the skippy flavor and believe they make the coco puff also.
I enjoy all the axe and sledge flavors also

I'm not following. How can you tell if cheap aminos are added? Would the aminos not be counted on the protein line...

Not specifically aminos but fillers in general. If you have a 30G serving size and the label states 25G of protein in that serving size 5G are fillers.

BSN is one of the worst companies that add unwanted fillers....
