Favorite protein powder?

Whey protein shortage looms as use of weight-loss drugs fuels global demand

Price of dairy product has risen fivefold after users of GLP-1 medications advised to increase protein consumption

It's so funny how gen pop people have been brainwashed to associate protein intake with protein supplements 😅
When in fact they are probably the last people that should ever use them.

my bulk go to for price and the quality seems good is Myprotein. They almost always have some kind of sale and they’re 3rd party tested.
Fictitious pricing. A marketing and sales strategy I loathe. Claiming your normal price is something astronomical and then you're always having a sale less than that to fool customers into thinking they must buy now. It's really only worth it when it's 50% off.

I do agree that their quality and third party testing are good. I used them a lot in the past, but something has happened with them in the last few months. They no longer list their products in pounds, but in servings. Depending on the flavour you select, certain sizes are unavailable when it used to be standard across the board. I liked buying 11 lb of their unflavoured Impact Whey Isolate and it's not an option anymore.

Exactly. The advice is to stop eating Skittles for breakfast and instead have eggs. Not to buy a whey isolate when all you lift is the remote.

I like Ascent native whey which is $60 for 4.4 pounds at Costco. Mixes and digests great. It's a blend, with more iso than concentrate. I've been thinking about buying some plain whey isolate from True Nutrition in bulk. I wonder if there's a discount on 50 pounds?

I appreciate this thread

I learnt about MRE Lite as another protein powder source... From this thread

I've been trying to stay as whole food based as possible, eliminating as much artificial ingredients as possible

Ive tried Jocko Molk protein powder more recently

On a different topic/thread, someone years ago, had mentioned a natural shake...something like:
Blending
10-12 raw eggs
1-2 cups of frozen pineapples
1-3x per day
(I add in 40g of collagen protein powder to this)

Nutricost Collagen Peptide Powder

Speaking of Collagen... Can anyone clarify the "collagen is useless and not absorbed" narrative?

Yet apparently European collagen products are different from American ones...

Maybe I'm just dumb but I don't see it... Or is the argument it shouldn't be a MAIN protein source since it doesnt have a great amino acid profile for muscle building?

I just grabbed some Kirkland brand whey from Costco. Price is good and its good enough. Will buy it again

I've used DPS Nutrition as my primary source for over a decade, they run some good sales usually to help save a little.
Any other online places cover as much as they do for decent prices?

Muscle and strength will have some decent pricing. But they change literally from week to week.

ON
Vanilla or chocolate and additives to manipulate flavor profile as I see fit.

For anyone interested you can get bulk EAA powder on Amazon for something like $1.10 per ounce where as Dymatize Whey Iso is $1.40 per ounce.

SynthePure or TN for whey isolate, due to knowledge of the supply chains, where most anyone else has zero clue on this for other brands.
AND, you know which I ALWAYS go with.😉😎

In fact, it's about time for me to put in for another order from Synthetek.

You may need to ask TN about any discount like that but, with Synthetek, you can get 5% off, using a code, and a free product of your choice(SynthePure probably in your situation) if you spend $300 or more.

Good enough doesn't cut it for myself nor anything that I would recommend. I'm very familiar with Costco(Kirkland) products and probably better than even the regional buyers.

The best thing about SynthePure is that you can have a whole shake in just a couple ounces of water.

Any quality protein powders that taste like coffee and have caffeine in it?
