What's next? Mandatory vaccinations?

Mandatory microchipping-which is pretty much already happening with our passports. It's just not imbedded in our skin... Big bro knows where you are at-at all times. I'm just waiting for a sattelite death ray from above to take out anyone at any time.

If that's the case, then how can the exact same drug (Maker and everything) be offered for less in Canada?

The Canadian gov. has regulations to restrain drug prices and keep them low, as part of their national health care thing.. That's only part of the reason though I'm sure, cuz that only explains how Canada keeps their prices low - it doesn't explain all the shit that's going on in the USA to jack prices up..

I can understand passing the costs and research and development off on the customer, but there is a huge price difference in the drug from one country to the other. Also how can these pharmacies now offer so many drugs (30 days supply) for like $4, when they used to charge a mint for the same drugs prior. This whole prescription deal is really screwed up and something smells really fishy with this whole mess. We're getting screwed, I'm just not sure by who. I'm pretty sure one of the screwers are the pharmacies.

Government regulations and subsidies lower cost in Canada. $4 at Walmart is for generics. Generics have patents that have expired and thus and pharm company can produce them drastically increasing supply, sompetition and lowering cost. I think walmart might be absorbing a small loss as result of the program (loss leader)just to get more people into their store and buying other more expensive drugs and other goods. Just my .02 cents

I don't smoke pot, nor condone it, but have to agree. Here in CA, we should legalize it and tax it for the state budget problems. Less health risks than alcohol.

Here its legal to buy it and smoke it on the streets!
But in the states many products can be bought without problems like peptides for those things you can go to prison here.
Every country has the own stupid f*cking rules mix the good ones together and we have a great country.
