And you don't think if a government and federal division was involved they they would be smart enough to not run the site directly from their server or intranet.

They can easily be remotely controlling the site with legit admin access. Who is to say that an agent is not behind the official server and or email address just acting as the original owner.

Primordial Performance DID get shutdown by the FDA yet their site wasn't "taken over". I've never read about the FDA seizing a site either.

Their registrar is webnic.cc, which isn't even under USA jurisdiction. Its Asian.

When they took over the domains of various torrent sites the whois info still reflected the original registrar. Not sure anything can really be garnered from the WHOIS info.

Might be wrong here, but I thought taking a domain just meant the original owner no longer had access/control over that domain. You seem to be worried about user info, but I'm pretty sure the domain just stores all the info the original owner put on the site. Meaning that if he did transactions via email without the site to begin with, the FDA wouldn't have shit to prosecute. They just have a domain that advertises a bunch of steroid powders and prices. Now if they seized his email somehow and he hadn't deleted people's personal info...then there may be some worries. But as it is, they just eliminated his ability to attract new customers via a website.

That is, unless you had to submit personal info on his site to purchase products...but that just seems like a red flag for never doing business with such a gentleman.
