Pride comming to vegas to compete against UFC should really make for entertaining events in the future. Check up the line up for This 21st, Looks much more entertaining then UFC 64 to me.

I watch pride and ufc, but it seems to me that the
pride fighters (most of them) anyway are just tougher
guys. i watched Chuck L. go to japan back in 2003
to fight prides 205 champion Jackson. Chuck got his
ass beat. His own corner threw in the towel. I do not
consider butterbean to be a good fighter. i watched
him here in littlerock for his first debute. Hell at 205
i think i could have beat him, if i could get his big ass
on the ground. lol

I've been waiting for this forever. Fedor is the shit. He is my pick for the most dominant fighter of all time. Coleman will be spitt'n bloody chicklets. I'd love to see Fedor in the cage. He'd stomp anyone in the UFC.

The only weight class UFC Has really good fighters in is welter weight, UFC heavy weights have nothing on the HW's from pride. Speaking of chuck though, he does have some thing in common with fedor in his fighting style, they both have those crazy whip punches, where they throw there whole arm and body weight into there punches, and it snaps on the end of the fist like a whip. From what I understand they train specifically to increase there power with these type of punches.

you are correct about fedor and chuck, this is why they
have such brutal punches. a perfect punch starts from
the big toe and transfers through the whole body to the
end of the snap. thats old school training baby.

Yeah, from what I understand he's a pretty quiet guy, I read a quote from him saying he used to be hungry growing up poor and every fight thats all he thinks about every time he steps into the ring.

I have always loved both pride and UFC, but it is time to mix it up a bit. They need to put the best of both worlds together and see who really is the best on the planet. I would love to see Vanderla Silva fight Lidell. That would be an excellent fight. You have to love this sport. It is the best of all worlds.

I think actually chuck is going to win this one. Silva hasn't been doing so great, he lost 3 out of his last 7 fights, including his very last fight less then a month ago, he was knocked out my crocop, kick to the head. Now Tim Silvia vs. Fedor would be great to watch, only just to show how dominate Prides heavy weight champ is vs UFC.
