I am currently training Dorian style (1 working set per exercise about 12-14 exercises per session 5x per week). I do RE-HIT cardio 3x per week. Love it. No negative issues.

He trained 5x per week. He did one WORKING set per exercise. He did about 12 exercises per session. Granted, he switched it up but that is my understanding of his basic foundation. This might help as it is HIS words exactly: https://www.instagram.com/reels/C8m0AqlsFfT/How is 12-14 exercises per session 5x per week Dorian style?

Dorian has never done more so much exercises per session and he worked out 2 on 1 offWhere in this video does he say anything about doing 12-14 exercises per session?
I’ve never heard him say that. As a matter of fact, he has plenty of videos saying people do too many exercises per session and too many per body part. He’s said he sees people doing 3-4 exercises for biceps, why? They literally only do one thing, pick 1 exercise and go to failure and move on. He’s said for triceps he’ll do 1 overhead and 1 push down exercise max. For back, he would do pull overs, barbell or Kroc rows, Deadlifts, Cable Rows OR Pull Downs. He has plenty of videos where he’s asked about his back routine considering he had one of the best backs ever, saying “3-4 exercises for Back and LEAVE THE GYM.”
I think you guys are confusing number of exercises for number of working sets/warm up sets.

you don't need "energy in the tank" to do cardioCurious even if you do cardio at a separate time or do it at all the same day as weight training. Do you have any energy in the tank to do any at all even hours later?
I follow him on IG. Here is a photo his log book with an explanation of how he started training one way then switched to the Blood and Guts later in his career. In the log book pic i count 9-10 exercises. I am sorry if I over stated by saying 12-14. That is how many I do which in my OP I said Dorian "STYLE"...I never actually counted Dorian's number until you brought it up but it is kinda splitting hairs. IMO, The idea is low volume at a high intensity.Where in this video does he say anything about doing 12-14 exercises per session?

Umm for the 18th I count 8 exercises total for Back and Delts, he has “Pullover” written down twice at the top. And for the 23rd he’s got 7 exercises total for Back and Delts. But yea, I forgot he would add rear delts, shrugs to his back days. So yea, it is somewhere in the middle. You also didn’t say what your workout days included, so I think we assumed you would do 14 exercises for Back, for example. So in my mind I was like “what the hell is this guy doing? Even if he does 1 warm up and 1 to failure that’s like 28 setsI follow him on IG. So personally, I am doing an Push/Pull split. Push: chest, side delts, front delts, triceps, quads, calves. GENERALLY, 2 exercises for each region. Obv NOT what Dorian did. But the idea of one all out set to failure is what I was commenting on. Chest (rev grip incline smith press and arsenal flyes) Front Delts (selector machine military), Side Delts (Y-Raise and selector laterals), triceps (JM Press and pushdowns) quads (leg extensions one set bilateral one set unilateral and pendulum squats), calves (3 sets of standing calf raise). The only exercise I do multiple sets on is calves just do to preference. That is 13 working sets. I do this a min of 2x per week and every other week depending on the rotation will give me a 3rd session. Push/Off/Pull/Push/Pull/Off/Push. The next week I start with Pull...so over 4 weeks I hit each muscle region 10x. 20 Workouts over 28 days. My PULL day is: Upper back x2 exercises (rows), Lats (pulldowns), Rear Delts, Traps, Biceps x2, Forearms, Hamstrings x2 and Adductors with a total of about 11 exercises for 11 sets.Umm for the 18th I count 8 exercises total for Back and Delts, he has “Pullover” written down twice at the top. When yea, if you’re doing Back, Delts, Tris for example, I can see the 12-14 exercises total.
