Fighting post show binge??

How does everyone fight through the cravings once your show is over I understand a day or two of indulgence is acceptable but my hunger is uncontrollable for weeks after a show and don't want to balloon up again like last year wanna hold decent conditioning.
 
I find eating unlimited meat and slowly adding carbs back helps me keep size and not add too much unwanted fat.
 
Possibly try a carb backloading approach just to minimize damage? Other than that it's pretty much just sheer willpower, but I suggest having a few snacks of something you like every day just don't hoover down everything in sight.

This is actually what I'm currently doing to help transition into the offseason I basically follow a keto diet during the day when I'm busy and am not craving food as bad, workout after work and than allow myself a few things I've been craving during the prep basically kind of a nice big post workout meal ☺ so far it seems to be working fairly well.
 
Take the diet ur on and add 500-700 cals back into. Once u plateou do this again and again until manageable
 
Do you (the BB compeititors) worry about post sodium consumption at all?

How much wight are you gaining 2-4 weeks post show?

Along with carbs + sodium right after a show, do you not feel your gut distending?
 
It's something you just gotta deal with.

I find that binging just leads to more binging.

Have a nice free meal and then get back to the program.

Something as simple as following IIFYM for a while (keeping your macros the same, just incorporating more "fun foods") may help with cravings. But like I said, I feel it can lead to serious problems of uncontrolled overeating.

I don't have a healthy enough relationship with food to venture out of my typical norms. I am pretty orthorexic at this point.

I can't have a slice of pizza, I eat the whole pizza. So I just avoid it entirely.

Pound veggies to help keep yourself full. Good luck man.
 
After my first show I was unaware of how much I would bloat if I binged on everything in sight. The water retention was so painful that I was about to go to the Docs! Took me a month to loose all the water. So after that I learned just to have a treat meal after the show or the morning after. Just looking like a water ballon wasn't a good look lol
