Do you guys think she might be a bit too hard for a state level show?

I love getting people into condition but I know that's not always rewarded.

If things go well at this show, she's probably going to do Jr Nationals also.

Shelby, I think she looks a bit hard (personally) but she looks great and a lot of women would die to have a body like hers. Great work!

and quads are def bodybuilder level

she'll do well whatever the plan is

Yeah, she might get knocked for too much muscle. Bodyfat is pretty low, too, but the combination of low BF with that amount of muscle and she might get dinged.

Hell, if they'll allow cross-overs to BB'ing, I try to get her in there. She'd very possibly win (at least her class) and she'd get a chance to see where that physique fits in.

(I agree - I think she looks phenomenal. Great work.)

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to see if she wants to enter both BBing and Figure at the show, assuming that's allowed.

If she can't, I'll probably have to soften her up a bit for Figure.

Man I hate that, lol. That's what they created Bikini for.

Shelby, I have never seen consistancy in Figure yet. That being said, she looks great and her legs are better then most figure.

Yah, we decided to harden her up a bit. She was able to enter both BBing and Figure.

She took 2nd in BBing (1st went on to take the overall) and then 2nd in Masters Figure, and 4th in Open Figure. The girls who placed ahead of her were softer, and less muscular.
She was happy with how she looked though, and will be doing another show in a couple weeks.

That's an awesome picture! She looks terrific! Too bad I'm not a judge in Figure shows, cause her kind of physique (hard with a good amount of muscle) would be rewarded more often...

Her hair are magnificient too!
