filter needles

I opened my first amp today and it went pretty smooth except for when I looked in the syringe after drawing, I noticed a small piece of something floating around in there. It's large enough to be easily seen. I'm pretty confused as to how it got through the needle (23g). I had already preloaded a half cc of prop and did not notice it then although I didn't look very closely. I'm guessing I should probably not inject this(probably a dumb question). I've read that it would be safer for me to buy a filter needle and draw through that. Thats different than a whatman filter right? If anything the least it could do is alleviate my paranoia

I did not see these on the board sponsers site. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with this. If I get some could I inject through a filter needle so I don't waste this 1.5 cc's of precious gear? (I know thats incredibly cheap

) This is one of my first posts but I have been lurking for ages, it really is incredible how much info is on here. I was like a kid in a candy store when I first found it

It is a Whatman filter. The whatman filters on the sponsor site attach to the syringe/needle.

They do make actual filtered needles. If you used a whatman I'd imagine out of 1 ml you'd lose .2 ml's in the filter.

Here ya go.

You can use the 18 ga filtered to draw then switch to a 23 ga or whatever to shoot.
