I've done Novolin R sub q - lots of experience with that - but only around meals
Now I want to put together a Lantus and Novolin R protocol - Which you can see I've pieced together advice from members here and other websites - and mutants protocol - But Not sure If i put it together correctly or maybe its not layed out efficiently ?

General Notes and Plan
So in the a.m make sure fasted is low 70s to approx 85.
Then after eating each meal approx 1 - 2 hours check glucose - if glucose to determine to adjust lantus dose.
Lantus First meal (xx) i.u
PREWORKOUT
PreWorkout Meal--30 min prior
15 Min Prior to workout--Novolin r 10 i.u
10 Min Prior to workout- Drink shake #1 or other optionS
Gatorade , dextrose ,eaa or oatmeal and grape drink ---50G whey isolate, 50g dextrose, 40g oatmeal
Shake 1: 20g EAA's , (39G) 40-60g Low DE Maltodextrin, 200mg Caffeine (or pre-workout powdered mix of choice in place of caffeine)
INTRAWORKOUT
Shake #2: 20g EAA's , 76G Dextrose -
POST WORKOUT
10 i.u hgh
20 min later 10 i.u novolin r - whey or egg whites dextrose drink
2 cups pasteurized egg whites, 1 cup dry oats, 1 banana or 1 cup blueberries (I prefer them to be frozen), splenda or stevia
You will want to have around 80-100 grams of simple sugars such as dextrose and grape juice and an additional 60 grams of whey protein at the same time as your insulin.
You will then eat another moderate glycemic index meal one hour after your high glycemic shake.
