Finasteride how to combat the ed issue?

Can you define ED?
Do you have actual erectile dysfunction or are you just a little less horny and a little less sensitive down there when taking finasteride?
Are you unable to perform with your partner?
Do the people around you like you better with hair or without?
Do you get paid for bodybuilding?
Gauge your situation.
Alot of these things should matter.


I am one of those people who look pretty good with a short buzz cut but my woman still prefers me with longer hair on my head that I can comb into nice hairdoos .
I know girls that like me better without hair as well, but I choose to take finasteride because think the excessive dht from gear use can really age your skin and scalp if you have the genetic predisposition. I will cover my experience in the next paragraph.



My experience: In short it works for hair loss but does have reversible sides, Depending on how far the hair loss has progressed will tell you how much it will re-grow. If you have mild or moderate hair loss, you start early it will stop the hair loss from progressing to an irreversible state and re-grow a considerable amount of hair.. I remember when I was younger 18-25 that when I noticed thinning on top I would immediately start it, then after about 2 months of continuous use of finasteride my hair would completely fill in, but every time I noticed a slight drop in sex drive, muscle hardness and overall strength. Finasteride seems to drop my overall enthusiasm and energy too about life. Then I just dropped it completely for a few years and my hair loss got much worse on or off gear. What made me start using it again though was , as I aged while using gear my body hair seemed to get very thick and I started getting cystic like ingrowns, along with lumpy ance in hairier spots of my body. The finasteride reversed the body hair thickness to where it is manageable and completely eliminated the acne and in growns I was getting, and of course I am noticing serious hair thickening on my head again.

Think about the people around you,
your sexual partner if they value your hair,
are you sure you look good without hair,
try buzzing or shaving your head and see if the attention you get is negatively affected,
do you think it could affect your job if you lose your hair,


If your not getting clinical depression from it just feeling a little tired you can try out some extra coffee or energy supplements, and add some viagra for those days you want to impress your partner.

Start topically is using a research chem. Mix the 1mg with minoxidil since it has a carrier, will still go systemic but at a lower rate. Safest option. Wait 3-6 months and gage progress. If not, begin taking oral .25mg/ed (common dose in Japan I believe), same thing, wait a few months. if not, bump to .5mg/ed etc.
It has a massive point of diminishing returns so .25mg is really not that much different than 1mg. If .25mg works for ya, why take more? Less sides and more money in your wallet.

This is just advice, I am still trying to find my right dose. I've had ED issues to begin with so it's tricky with me knowing what variable is causing what.

One thing I would like to ask. Obviously taking a DHT derivative completely defeats the purpose. But what about a small dose, for example, those taking the 100 test/100 mast protocol, or 100 test with 50mg of provision daily. Would that low amount of DHT negative some of the issues some of the negative sides experience without being enough to affect the positive results of the finasteride? Always been a big fan of 100 test/200 Mast or 200 Primo for a cruise but that's been on half since I don't know how much is too much and I want to give the finasteride a fair shot.

I took it in my mid twenties (37 now) for maybe a year. Came off for about 4 years (everything) shortly after cessation of fina and that first year or two was a real motherfucker. Things eventually got back to somewhat normal even w low natural test but never pre finasteride levels. It's a shit drug for many of us, the physical sides effected me most but the mental sides were also present for years. I've been back on trt for 4 years or so and libido/erection quality is all over the place and I hate using the typical ed meds bc they fuck my head/sinuses up so bad. I am certain things would be very different had I never touched that crap. The prices we pay.... I wish I could kick my younger self's ass sometimes

For you guys that say you never came back to where you were prior to taking finasteride, do any of you have use any other drugs? Such as antidepressants, AAS, etc. I know some people have had issues using it but it's only a very small amount. That being said, I'm not discounting your accounts by any stretch of the imagination.

i've been on it for 3 months now. i'm either on TRT or always blasting test at 300mg+ though. i have not experienced a single negative side effect to date that i can attribute to the finasteride.

Never any antidepressants for me. In-fact I dont think I've ever been prescribed anything other than antibiotics. I took it nearly 12 years ago and the sides werent as perpetuated back then. I just know, I was on test. I took it as my hairline had def started to take on a new look and within a month my dick wasnt working properly and my mental outlook changed rather abruptly. You tend to not forget something like that lol, especially the boner thing. I was dating a pretty solid 8.5-9 at the time and had some wtf moments after never having issues previous (had run aas for 4 to 5 years previous). That's just my experience. Sure, there are thousands of factors but I'm fairly certain my issues were attributed to finasteride. All I know on my end, is it's a drug I'll never touch again as it had a pronounced effect on me
