This is only my second post, but I've been lurking for a while now. Tons of great info here.

I'm currently 6-1, 205 lbs, 15-17% BF, 28 years old. Looking to start my first cycle and would like any advice that you all can offer. I used pro-hormones (1-AD and 4-AD) back when I was 18-19 and had no idea what I was doing - I also did an eight week run on ostarine earlier this year. That's the extent of my experience.

Here's what I'm planning:
Weeks 1-12: 500 mg (2x250) Test E
Weeks 1-3: 20/30/50 mg/day Dianabol
Weeks 4-14: 500iu HCG (2x250)
Weeks 1-14: 12.5 mg/day Aromasin
Weeks 15-18: 40/40/20/20 mg/day Nolvadex

Does that make sense for a first run? I'm hoping to gain 10-15 lbs of muscle.
 
Have you considered what will happen when you don't want to come off? Are you ok with going on a TRT dose in between cycles?
 
I would consider getting the BF a bit lower before hitting go on the cycle
 
Your body fat is too high to be starting a bulking cycle. You will add even more body fat while bulking, it's inevitable. You may end up at 20% which wouldn't be good. The higher your body fat, the more estrogen you produce as well. You're better off dieting down to about 10% then starting your cycle.
 
Have you considered what will happen when you don't want to come off? Are you ok with going on a TRT dose in between cycles?

This is something I'm hoping to avoid. The TRT dose would be for mental (feel-good)reasons, I assume, or are you suggesting that the cycle will cause shutdown and necessitate it?

This is a good point. I'm not starting for another 6-8 weeks, and will be working on reducing the BF in the meantime. I just want to have all my ducks in a row for when I do start.
 
BF level has nothing to do with starting a cycle. Yes lower body fat is always more desirable but really has nothing to do with cycle. A good cycle backed up with the right diet and macro ratios will have you gaining muscle and dropping BF levels at the same time. All this Bulking cutting blah blah blah. Adjust your diet for growth, not bulk. Flour, rice and other products come in bulk......they are packed into big burlap sacks! That is what a "bulking cycle" will have you looking like. Growth is what you want. Lean body mass is what you diet and train for. The drugs have very little to do with this. The more muscle you can put on the more body fat you will burn. I can get lean and hard on test and deca....it all come down to how you eat!!!!

I agree, but how many guys really know how to properly diet while bulking to gain lean mass and lose fat? Very, very few guys know how and the ones that do are the usually the ones who have learned through trial and error. Hell, even national level amateurs and IFBB pros hire top nutritionists like Shelby and John Meadows because some of them aren't sure how to diet the right way. The OP is totally new to aas, and I believe he doesn't know all the right foods to eat at the right time which is NOT a knock on him, but something he will learn in time.
