When used in conjunction with other AAS, it will help add muscle. If you are on Test or something also, the dbol gives you more strength, thus helping the test and giving you more solid muscle. It may help with muscle recouperation also with the added water. I am sure there are more reasons, like stretching your T-shirts a bit more
alright, so if dbol is so temporary, why would anyone use it?
There is so much to go over. But a step (or cycle) in the right direction would be...
Weeks 1-12= Test C or E at 400mg
Week 1-4= Dbol at 25mg... no more than 30mg
Test only is more than enough. But the above is a nice beginner cycle that you can stick with for numerous cycles. If you have 5mg dbol do 25mg if you have 10mg just do 30mg to keep it simple. You don't need more! The above will blow you up just make sure your diet and training is spot on and you have a good base to start from.

FWIW, my first cycle was Test at 250mg/wk and dbol at 30mg/day for the first four week and I gained almost 30 pounds and kept more than 20. You will probably blow up from your first cycle if your diet and training are on point. No need to use much IMHO. Smallest effective dose
I would take Testosterone Enanthate at about 500 mg. per week for 10-12 weeks. Not a fan of d-bol so I would not use it. Just my opinion...
