Hello all! Wanted to start a log of what I’m currently doing 10 weeks out from my first show, started prep and peds together at 17.5 weeks out. Currently I’m 23 sitting at a”170-172lbs 5’8.5. Did a natty show and got down to 152lbs decently lean for a natty and did pretty well, 3rd place in open classic out 20ish guys. Photo order is 1 day out of natty prep, start of prep, currently 8 weeks into cycle.

PEDS:

400 test. (first 3 weeks) 600 test 200 eq 50 mg anavar 4x a week TD’s (4-6)

Week 7 added in 10 mg tren ED.

Gh has been constant at 8 iu

Nutrition:

My metabolism is very fast and picks up at a leaner state, sitting at 3500 cals on training days and 2750 on off days. No cardio or set steps but I burn a lot due to working a very laborious job.

Training:

I do an upper/lower split 4 days a week, can go more into detail if anyone’s interested.

Here is my progress so far, started prep this year at 162lbs now currently 170lbs

I know you didn't come here for advice, but damn that's a lot of gear for a first time. Why not milk more out of less?

I’m in a NPC prep not just looking to put some muscle on. I got very extensive blood work prior to starting my cycle and keep track of blood pressure daily and take supps/meds to stay as healthy as possible.
 
Ran a couple high days and now sitting at 175-178. Was doing a training and non training day diet but now doing high and low days.
Low days- 2700 cals, 232g protein, 266g carbs, 79g fats
High days- 4350 cals, 272g protein, 602g carbs, 95g fats
Sitting at just over 8.5 weeks out, running 4 low days then 3 high.

the test is high-ish, if hes adding the EQ, he do do with half that. always count EQ as test.:cool:
 
Why count EQ as a test?
because thats essentially what it is, some can argue, but the difference is just a single, double bonded molecule. which makes it less androgenic. the point of running EQ at anything under 500 to 600 a week is going to be unless. if anything OP should have the two takin in reverse order....600 EQ, 200test. especially for a contest prep.

but for a first cycle, EQ shouldnt even be introduced. masteron would be a better option. but ive learned no one is going to listen to doesage advice, and are going to do what they want. the thing about first cycles is, you CAN NOT go backwards after this, so hes going to be running about a gram......AND 8iu!!! GH for a very first cycle, for a mere 160lbs at best....what will the next dosage be? i promise you it wont be less.

You look excellent. Great progress! Good luck on your show. I don't want to be yet another cook in the kitchen, but if I could give one piece of advice, practice your posing.
Thank you man! That has been my biggest focus coming up now close to the show. My posing was shitty at my last show and I don’t want that to happen again

Do you have a coach or do you work alone? How does your training days look like?

Yes I do work with a coach, I run an upper/lower split 4x a week.

I track all but my supersetted movements and have made really good progress throughout this prep. I normally train 2 days on 2 days off to keep my recovery high as I work a very physically demanding job that takes a bunch of my recovery. My metabolism isn’t crazy high but with my job it makes me that way and why my calories are so high

I’m happy with the size I have been able to put on while being in a very lean state in contest prep and think once I actually get some food in me I hope to look less like an triathlete and more like a freak haha.

respectfully.....you shouldnt even be competing at this point....but peeps do what peeps do.
now with that said. regardless of "the first show" thing.....what are the plans for mass, which
is what you should really be doing right now instead of competing....

look, i have no problem with people wanting to compete, its gonna be a tornado for you.
almost too much to take in, get it out of your system , and get a real trainer/coach..or whatever.
get to basics and hammer down. you are too skinny, although you do have some potential.
it just needs alot of work ahead of you. in all honesty i looked like you at about 16yo.

and im not being rude, and not trying to diminish what you have already accomplished. just sayin.

do the show...learn....then grow time.....2 years worth of grow time...

just some thoughts to consider.

Not sure why you’re picking up so much negativity I’d just ignore it.

You actually look great and definitely so when you’re a first timer

From your last pics your condition looks really good and plenty of size for a first timer

Get peeled, have a great time learn as much as you can then get huge!
