Heres my main question without having to read the rest... when i try to increase my protein intake from what its at, its butt-pee all day long. bad. ive tried eating peanut butter all day, but i feel like im putting on body fat like im eating mayo out of the jar. i have flaxseed oil and take it with shakes on occasion but notice little or no difference. any suggestions? right now its kinda mellowed out abit, but ive cut down my protein. i still shit about 4-5 times a day, but atleast its not liquid. also, ive seen suggestions of metamucil in diet plans. can someone tell me what it will help? thanks for the help.
hi! im new to the site, beginner, and looking for whatever advice i can get. ive been lifting on and off for about 3 years(just turned 25), and recently started the mon-wed-fri routine from Big A's write up. the last time(little over a year ago) i was heavy into lifting i was skinny as hell at 155, 5' 9" at age 23. i was shitting around 6 times a day immediately following each meal and was giving up. basically had little or no fat or carbs in my diet and got nowhere.
so i stopped for awhile after having my son and drank beer and ate what i wanted. went up to 175 but not much muscle and was weak whenever i did make it over to the gym. about a month ago i found this site, and a little determination and have been following Big A's routine. i started trying the 500g protein thing and my asshole couldnt take it anymore. i cut down to a 40 gram shake with each meal about 6 times a day. went up to 200lbs, much less body fat, and my shoulders got too big for the medium shirts i was wearing to work. had to buy larges. i look almost the same size with little lesss fat, but 25lbs heavier. my incline press went up from a shitty 80lbs to 215lbs, flys from around 50lbs to 135lbs, bentover dumbell rows from around 30lbs to 75lbs. much improvement for a month i think.
so i was hoping to get some advice or input on my diet or supplements, as i dont want to get into "gear" right now, and am just looking for ways to improve what is already working.
i get up around 5, take 4000mg of arginine, 3 anavol, 1 multivitamen, 30 minutes later eat 3 whole eggs, 3 eggwhites and 40 gram shake with tsp of glutamine. 2-3 hrs later have a myoplex rtd, 2-3 hrs later eat again(chicken sandwich, tuna, rice w/chicken) and 40g shake w/tsp glutamine. again with the same arginine, anavol and vitamin, plus a 25 mg DHEA. same rotation of meals w/shake, and myoplex rtd(43g protein) every 3 hours until i go to bed. on average about 6 meals a day including the myoplex rtd's. i think its been working well, but if anyone see's any room for improvement im open to criticism.
