Been contemplating posting these for a little. This is from my first show June 11th. I was hoping to come in as a super heavy being as I'm 6'2". Was 230 2 weeks out and about 1 week out I dropped to 217. Reintroduced carbs at 6 days out and they just weren't sticking. Started with about 150g a day and by 2 days out we were at about 450g a day all from oats and jasmine rice. Night before the show i tipped the scale at 219 so heavys it was. I had about 3-4 inches on everybody in my class. Ended up placing 5th in open heavies. I'll take it for my first show. My legs are my weakest point. They are getting the most attention this off season. And I'm trying to add 10-15 lbs of stage weight as well to make sure I make super heavies.
