First time GH experience/observations

I wanted to get on GH for aging/replacement/quality of life purposes. I've been on now for about 6 weeks, 1.25 - 1.5 IUs a day.

I experimented with taking it at night, it messed up my sleep too much so I started taking it in the morning. That has been ok. Tried both IM and SubQ, sems like IM caused too much of a crash and I found myself noticeably tired in the middle of the day, with SubQ I had no fatigue issues.

Some things i've noticed so far:

Positive:
General sense of well being, GH makes me feel good, it definitely has some anxiolytic properties in me.
Muscle fullness, my muscles just look bigger all the time, like they are constantly in a pump state.
Vascularity.

Negative:
Terrible acne, skin so oily you could rub my face on a pan and cook.
Tendon pain, feeling tendonitis flair ups in old injury spots that I haven't felt in years. Bad enough that I have had to modify my workout routine and take more rest days than usual.
A general puffiness all over, subcutaneous fat seems like its expanded, look of SubQ water retention.
I just feel like I'm a giant water balloon sloshing around.
Some carpal tunnel like symptoms.

At this point the negatives outweigh the positives to me and I think I am going to drop it. I really didn't expect that many negatives TBH, I assumed those would only show up at higher doses, maybe I am some sort of hyper responder on the negative side.

I will stay on for a few more days until I can get a blood test to check IGF levels as I am curious how much they have gone up since I started, but after that I think I am going to drop it.
 
In my experience, the negatives you experienced aren’t present or much less so when you’re lean. By lean I mean, no more than 10% bf. If you’re already lean then this advice won’t help but if you’re not, try getting there and give it another go.

fair point, and taken. I'm not sub 10%. Somewhere around 12%-13% probably. The outlines of abs...the general public would call me lean lol. But not in this thing of ours...
 
Dang man. I've been taking 4iu of GH now for close to 30 weeks and never experienced any of those negatives. The sleep part of it from what I understand is when your body naturally produces more than the dose you are taking and CT usually comes at way higher doses. 4iu I am out like a baby every night. Sucks you are having those symptoms. I guess some things just don't jive with certain people.
 
Let me qualify this by saying I am new to AAS, peptides, HGH etc. Have you considered trying GH from another source? My experience has varied somewhat based on whose kit I am using. I love GH so far but I have had some of those sides on one source's growth.
 
Try dandelion to help shed the water… or another low dose diuretic…

This was on rips maybe 10 years ago, 2iu/day for a year. I was also taking 75 mg test/week and EPO. In hindsight, for my goals at the time it should have been 1 iu EOD

My diet was not great, my lifestyle was chaotic and I thought all my exercise and supplements would counteract it.

This part is very anecdotal- my head is way bigger than it used to be, my wrists are muchhhh bigger, i grew an inch (I was in my late 20s but I have two relatives that also grew in their mid 20’s). All of this was terrible news for me at the time (endurance sport goals do not align with bbing)

Yeah you definitely didn’t get acromegaly off 2iu 😅

1iu EOD? Sure if your goals are to take less than you’d naturally produce lol

I didn’t say I had acromegaly. I said some of my bones grew. It could’ve been because my growth plates were still open. Since, you know, every single thing I described happens when you give someone growth hormone when they are young?

And yes, taking less than I produce naturally would in fact be the goal for me.

With what you combine the HGH if I may ask?
 
What did I reconstitute with? Bacteriostatic water

What other gear am I on? Just trt. 170mg test week.

some of these negatives could be contributed to poor diet, inefficient training, and many other variables.. not just HGH
