I’ve started to use humalog pre workout without gh into play (planning to add it in in a few weeks) and I’ve seemed to flatten out when I take it, I have a very fast metabolism and seem to go through carbs very fast, not sure if I’m doing this wrong or what, this is my protocol:

Meal 1 45p 100c 0-5f

Meal 2 40p 100c 12f
Wait until digested

Pin 6iu insulin gym parking lot Sip shake consisting of 15g Eaa 5g creatine 10g glutamine + sodium and potassium and 88g of carbs worth of Gatorade powder (to play it safe) and I finish this shake before end of workout then eat a regular meal low to not fat afterwards

I am also taking 500mg metformin at night
 
Do it post work out. Some will tell you to do it pre and post, try it post work out.
When you finish your work out go home do your Humalog shot and start eating simple carbs and a protein shake. Wait an hour or so and eat a decent solid meal.

Will do I’ll try it tomorrow, is it a bad idea to eat more carbs per iu of insulin for example 12-15g carbs per 1 iu slin or is that just retarded

It should be the other way around. Your insulin dose should follow your diet.

Now if you're not following a diet, then I suppose 10g if carbs per IU should in essence cover you.
 
imo thats plenty of carbs for 6iu.....
I do 10iu with hardly any carbs before workout and gatorade @40-50g carbs, honey (who knows ), i was doing salt , and only eaas once in a blue moon. SOMETIMES banana also before. post workout meal was heavy though , the only big meal I would eat per day other than that mostly snacking. banana is great too preworkout with insulin, natural fruit sugars and honey are ideal sources for sweets brother
 
get your diet situated according to your goals and calories at place where you are holding weight. Carbs in the meal before training , carbs intra workout , carb and whey protein immediately after training and an carb meal after training.
look at the active life of the insulin , Humalog is about 2hr for clearance for most people FOR MOST PEOPLE , allow yourself 1iu of insulin per 10g of carbs and start there

Always add insulin into the existing diet , do not try to build your diet around a dose of insulin.
 
Metformin is known to flatten some people out. Insulin is not. I would argue that 6iu is a very low dose, hard to evaluate what exactly it's doing.
