Fish Oil: always and in any case?

As far as the plausible contributor to AFib is thought to be through disruptions in membrane gated channels -Ca²+ and K+ electrochemical gradient.

Paraphrasing here, I look at the specifics later.
 
Interesting. I've been using 5-20g of fish oil daily for probably 25 years.

I will say for those I know that have Afib, pretty much all of them had or have high blood pressure.
 
I've stopped taking fish oil a number of years ago.

It was the culprit to my very high triglycerides (like 10-20 times out of range) after 1 year of doing blood work every 3 months.

In working with my family doc, he reviewed my over the counter supplementation, I even changed my diet from keto to high protein, moderate carb, low fat.

It turns out, keto was not the culprit, quite the contrary, I stopped the fish oil for three months, continued my keto diet with fatty fish and so forth, triglycerides back in range, I've never looked back.

That being said, this is me and my body, everyone is different, this is just my my story about fish oil.

My hdl without fish oil isn’t on the chart it’s so low. With fish oil in my hdl is above 2 mmol
 
Man so much conflicting info on fat sources

We all know EPA and DHA are good but there is debate on weather most fish oil supps are rancid...and krill is better. But also read it can't be trusted

Then some still say saturated fat is bad, but have read it's good for growth lol

Same here with the hdl. I saw slight improvements in my ldl and triglycerides with krill and 3-6-9 omegas.

Interestingly, vascepa was no better than otc for me. Just a lot more expensive because my insurance refused to cover it.

A fantastic heart health combo I like and use daily. Outside of cost, Krill oil is superior to fish oil.

I do use a high potency fish oil that’s 2550mg epa/dha and I do 20g of combined a day so close to 10 times the normal dose

1 teaspoon ain’t gonna do shit if your on a bunch of PEDs

Nice. Do anything for your LDL? Just curious.
 
LDL is always good, low as .97 but usually around 1

Clean diet and I use olive oil on my rice every meal as fat source. Everything grass fed when it come to beef, never any farmed fish.
