Fish Oils which are best?

Is there a difference between claimed pharm grade and products like NOW Omega-3 ?

NOW is a good product, but there is definitely a difference between certain brands of fish oils. I recommend Carlsons liquid fish oils, pretty affordable and very high quality.

Fish oils are used for their Omega oils content. Omega oils are available also from seed oils.
The problem with anything fish related is the presence of methyl mercury, this is the most toxic possible form of mercury. This methyl mercury is present in all sea and ocean waters due to the burning of fossil fuels and it accumulates in living organisms.
In my opinion it is better to supplement the body's essential oils using seed oils, thus avoiding unwanted toxins.
Look up Udo's Oil on google. This is what I use and since starting the appearance of my skin has drastically improved (not that it was bad to start with), so i'm guessing its doing me some good. Its not the cheapest but in my opinion definitely worth it.

I like the Carlsons as well-Lemon flavored. Tastes real good and doesn't repeat on me at all for some reason or if it does I don't notice it. Others I've had are like burping up a mackerels' ass 10:00 in the morning....

The only thing I have against Udos oil blend is that it contains primrose oil which has been shown to act as an estrogen ,even causing gyno in teen boys mabey this is one of the reasons it helps lipid profiles like estro does ,I dunno just throwing ideas out there ,but there are studies showing primrose oils estrogen mimicking properties

res-q 1250, it's better then any omega-3 product out there!
(thats my opinion) my father has high cholesterol levels, so does my brother, and I myself have a slightly elevated level. We all three use this product and our numbers have been coming down nicely.

Here in Nova scotia we have a company called OCEAN NUTRITION ( owned by ClearWater Seafood Inc ) it developed the process for making Omega powder which is tasteless and odorless. It sells all over the world and is in such high demand that they are building a new plant for it's production which will employ 1200 people.

I thought it was only a matter of time before it was to be an add on for bulk protein sales . . . add a sweetner, Flavor pac and O'3.

I use two types Salmon Oil and a 3-6-9 ( Borage, Flax and Fish oil combo.

These products ( O'3's ) are anti-inflammatory and as such effect you ability to clot, so if you are going in for surgery, you doctor has to know about them.
