Flakes in Tamoxifen

I just got some Tamoxifen Citrate from one of the sponsors here and noticed there are a bunch of little flakes floating around in it. When I first got it they were all stuck on the bottom and no matter how much I shook it I couldn't get the stuff off of the bottom. I used a straw to scrape it off and now there are the flakes floating around.

No matter how much I shake it I can not get the flakes to dissolve.

Is it still going to be OK to use for my experiments?

It sounds like it is "falling out" of the solution or crashing. It will be ok to use in your experiment but difficult to determine the actual amount you are using. I would email the source and ask them what they suggest you do in order to get it back to "normal." Putting the vial in hot water may help.
