I was doing some flexing in the mirror the other day when it hit me, I have lost my ass. I've heard this is a plague that hits alot of men as they get older. Is there anything I can do to specifically target the glute region. I've been flexing my glutes on most of my lower body exercises where glutes are affected buttt to no avail. I've heard from some lady friends that walking the stairs really works the glutes hard. Is it time for me to go buy The Buns Of Steel video?:eek:
 
When I want to really FEEL them for the next few days, I'll do a combo that looks something like this:

3-5 sets of lunges or split lunges
3-5 sets of sldl's
3-5 sets of good mornings

:)

You took the words right out of my mouth Phil. I should have just asked Scorpiogirl for advice to begin with because she has some of the best glutes I have ever witnessed. I'll definitley use your advice Scorpiogirl!
 
Run the bleechers at your local high school stepping over a row on each step.
 
The same thing happened to me when I hurt my lower back. Deep squats are the way to go Bro.
 
I like to do leg presses to focus on my glutes. If you get your feet way up there and go back kinda far, next day your glutes feel like someone took a hammer to them.
 
try reverse lunges. You won't won't be able to sit on the toilet for 3 days. :D
 
reverse hypers and 1 legged squats with your back leg up on a bench. (they are lke lunges but back leg is on a bench rather than the floor)

Try them, you will be amazed how sore your ass is the next day if you go deep enough. Reverse hypers are fantastic for getting a bubble butt.
 
yes she does phil...she was doing good mornings the other day and half the gym was watching. lol she has great form haha

Yep! These would be split lunges....I'm still feeling mine today from Monday and I'll feel them for a couple more days.....good stuff!!!!! :D

Maybe you should film her doing these exercises and send them to me so I can get a better idea of how to do them.

lol - believe me, there are plenty of better butts to watch than mine! lol I think IslandGirl has me TOTALLY beat in that dept! :)
