hello

this will be the thread where i document my journey of regrowing my hair.


male pattern baldness doesn't really run in my family. my dad has a full head of hair that is barely grey at all - at 73 years old.

none of my grandparents were bald either - and they all lived to be in their 90's except for one.


i believe my hair loss was from DHT drugs - primarily masteron and winstrol (never used primo) and from tren.


i still have pretty much all my hair on the sides and the lower part of the back of my head, but the rest is... looking sparse.


i will be taking 2.5mg of minoxidil 2 times per day, with .25mg finasteride per day.

i am guardedly optimistic about the potential my hair has for regrowth - because as i have come to understand it, if you begin treatment before you get that level of baldness where areas are completely smooth, the damage isn't insurmountable.


still taking minoxidil 2.5mg 2x per day


bumped the fina up to .5mg ED


have not noticed any real side effects yet.


i come from a long line of not-hairy men.. i dont have any hair on my back or shoulders, and barely any on my upper arms.

considering switching from fina to duta if i am not getting the results i want

i understand this will be a long process, so im staying realistic (or at least trying to)

anyone use dutasteride? if so, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

i also started using the nizoral shampoo that you can get over the counter (may switch to the prescription version if i care enough).

got a dermal stamp that im going to be using as well when it arrives


started doing minoxidil topical foam, and have the topical liquid on the way that i will use in tandem. i will probably use the liquid after derma stamping my scalp (it's generally advised not to, as it can have a burning sensation, but it will definitely make the minoxidil hit harder - or so say the dermatologists i watched on youtube.)

if i dont grow much additional body hair, i may bump the minoxidil to 6.25mg per day\


i am also taking 40mg lisinopril, 5mg nebivolol, and i was taking 10mg amlodipine, but my doctor said i should stop using it when i start the minoxidil.

i am doing 600mg test e, 600mg npp, and 750mg eq per week.

You seem to be a diffuse thinner and hairline is still solid. People with this pattern of hair loss generally respond pretty well to treatment.

second week of:

- 5mg minoxidil ED
- .5mg finasteride ED
- Nizoral shampoo 3x per week
- Microneedling 1x per week (just started doing this. 1 session done currently)
- topical minoxidil whenever i get out of the shower

considering getting some retinol to boost absorption of topical minoxidil

progress seems ok so far. 1 week down, the rest of my life to go. lol

haven't been getting much in the way of side effects

got some water retention in my lower body, but im going to start lightly supplementing with potassium to help offset the sodium issues. 'lightly' because im on lisinopril

apparently the oral minoxidil can make you grow a beard so that's cool. going to not shave for a while and see what happens

also makes your eyelashes really long apparently.. so i'll look gay as f*ck soon


really hoping to see solid progress over the next several months.. ive been reading that it can take 3-6 months to start seeing substantial hair gains (in those who get results).

I just started some baldness prevention in the form of minoxidil foam post shower. I figure better do something for it instead of just letting it go. Didn't want to take dht blocker pills so just went for the local topical route. Your protocol looks solid good luck

id suggest looking into some sort of DHT blocking... even something as small as .25mg finasteride EOD


shouldn't have any negative effects at that dosing, and the protection should be significant

I’d be careful with that.
I felt side effects with that. And some can have permanent side effects.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I am scared to use finasteride after hearing the side effects. I would rather go bald...or continue to be bald.

there's a lot of speculation that the post-finasteride syndrome is purely psycho-somatic.. i haven't had any issues so far, but it's only been 2 weeks.

i believe the half life of finasteride (and especially dutasteride) is relatively long... so if you do get this supposed syndrome, it could take months to resolve.

me personally? id rather have hair.. can always use trimix if you need it



or you can just get married and then you'll never have to worry about having sex again iykyk
