At least he has an opportunity now to win some big prize money in the open. Even winning the 212 Olympia, the prize money was not great.

Flex is doing very well financially, but without a doubt, 212 guys should have a bigger prize.

The return of flex is going to make things very interesting . Top 3 at the Olympia in 2022 is going to be a battle.

Shaun won't stand a chance at top 5 Olympia, Derek unless he gets in the nastiest condition EVER he doesn't stand a chance of top 5. Flex is rare in that he has that open Olympia muscle with Mr. Olympia type conditioning.

In 2020, the open winner got $400,000. In comparison, the 212 winner got $50,000. So the 212 winner only got about 12% of what the open winner got.

The 1st place award for 212 isn't much of a motivator. Its really almost an insult.. I guess the sponsorships that come with 1st place must be the motivator?
